Who we are

This store is operated by Marco (“Memory”) du Plessis, South Africa. Contact for anything privacy-related: contact@memstechtips.com.

What we collect, and why

• Order details — your name, email address, billing address, and what you bought. We need these to process your order, deliver your downloads, and keep the records tax law requires.
• Payment — handled entirely by PayPal or, for South African buyers, PayFast. We never see or store your card number. The processor’s own privacy statement applies to the payment itself.
• Email updates (optional) — only if you tick the opt-in box at checkout. You can unsubscribe at any time, and not ticking it changes nothing about your order.
• Supporters wall (optional) — if you tick the supporters-wall box at checkout, the name from your order is displayed publicly on our supporters wall on this site and on the sponsors page inside the Winhance app. Names only, never amounts. The supporters list is hosted in a public GitHub repository as part of how the wall works. Email contact@memstechtips.com and we’ll remove your name immediately.
• Cookies — functional only: your cart/session and caching. No advertising or cross-site trackers.

Who else touches your data

Our service providers: PayPal and PayFast (payments), our web host (this website’s infrastructure), and Google Fonts (the site’s typefaces are loaded from Google’s servers, which sees your IP address as part of serving the font files). We don’t sell or share your data with anyone for marketing.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Opt-in email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask for deletion (where legal retention requirements allow) by emailing contact@memstechtips.com. We honour the rights granted by South Africa’s POPIA and, for visitors in the EU/UK, the GDPR.
