Sponsorship Terms

These terms apply when a business buys a Winhance sponsorship (Bronze, Silver, Gold or Emerald) on this store. By completing the purchase, you (the sponsor) agree to them, alongside our general Terms and Conditions.

Who you are dealing with

Sponsorships are sold by Marco du Plessis, a sole proprietor in South Africa, who runs Winhance. Contact: contact@memstechtips.com. We are not registered for VAT, and no VAT is charged.

What you get

Your sponsor card appears in the places listed for your tier on the Winhance page at the time you buy, showing the details your tier includes (logo, name, city, website link, slogan). We may change how sponsor spaces look as the app and websites evolve, but your tier keeps placement of equal or better visibility for as long as you sponsor.

Winhance has no telemetry, so we cannot guarantee a number of views, clicks or installs. Usage figures we share come from public sources such as GitHub release download counts.

How a sponsorship runs

You choose one of two ways to pay:

  • Monthly: charged every month until you cancel.
  • Paid up front: one payment for 1 to 12 months. Twelve months is charged at the annual price, which costs less than 12 monthly payments. It does not renew.

Other periods can be agreed in writing.

You build your card before you pay. We check every card by hand, and it normally goes live within 2 business days. A sponsorship paid up front starts on the day your card goes live, not the day you pay, so approval time does not eat into it.

Payment

You pay in US Dollars through PayPal (including card payments made through PayPal). A monthly sponsorship is charged on the same date each month. A sponsorship paid up front is charged once. A PDF invoice comes with every payment.

Renewal

Monthly: renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel any time in My account or in your PayPal account.

Paid up front: nothing renews or charges automatically. We email you about 14 days before your period ends. To carry on, buy again at the then-current price.

When a sponsorship ends, your card comes off the paid sponsor spaces and your name moves to the past-sponsors list on the websites. Ask, and we will leave you off that list.

Your content

You give us permission to show your name, logo, slogan and website link in the sponsor spaces for as long as you sponsor, and you confirm you have the right to use them. We may resize or pad your logo to fit the card, but will not otherwise change it. You can change your card at any time in My account, under Sponsor card. We check every change by hand, and it normally goes live within 2 business days.

Who can sponsor

We may decline any sponsorship before it goes live; if we do, you get a full refund. We do not accept sponsors whose product or website is malware or other harmful software, or involves illegal content, adult content, gambling or misleading claims.

Ending a sponsorship and refunds

  • You can end your sponsorship at any time. Cancel a monthly sponsorship in My account or in PayPal, and your card stays up until the end of the month you have paid for. For a sponsorship paid up front, ask us and we take your card down within 2 business days. Payment for a month or period that has already started is not refunded.
  • If we end your sponsorship early for reasons that are not your fault (for example, we stop maintaining Winhance or remove sponsor spaces from the app), we refund the unused full months you have paid for.
  • If your product or website breaks the rules under “Who can sponsor” while you sponsor, we may remove your card straight away, and no refund is due. We will tell you why.
  • Outages: short interruptions outside our control (GitHub, hosting, internet) are not a breach. If your sponsor spaces are down for more than 7 days in a row because of something on our side, we add that time to your sponsorship at no charge.

In every other case, sponsorship payments are non-refundable, as set out in our Refund Policy.

Independence

A sponsorship does not buy influence over Winhance’s features, settings, recommendations or code. It is not an endorsement of your product by Winhance, or of Winhance by you. You are welcome to say you sponsor Winhance; please do not suggest that Winhance recommends or certifies your product. Emerald sponsored feature development is agreed separately in writing.

Liability

Sponsor spaces are provided as described above. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the current month or paid-up-front period.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. We may update them for future payments; the date at the top changes when we do. A month or period you have already paid for runs under the version in place when you paid.
